Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Fauteuil À Coup De Foudre (Utilisation) by Philippe Ramette was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philippe Ramette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balcon 1 - 1996 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 40,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Fauteuil À Coup De Foudre (Utilisation) von Philippe Ramette im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 8.000,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Ramette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balcon 1 - 1996 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.300,00.
