Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contemplation Irrationnelle (Irrational Contemplation) by Philippe Ramette was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,037.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philippe Ramette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balcon 1 - 1996 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 40,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contemplation Irrationnelle (Irrational Contemplation) von Philippe Ramette wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.037,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Ramette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balcon 1 - 1996 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.300,00.
