In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work The Wood Nymph sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,836.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Wilson Steer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tired Out in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 828,982.26).

In der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit The Wood Nymph für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.836,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Wilson Steer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tired Out im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 828.982,26).
