Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Philip von Schantz could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Red currants" changed hands for SEK 210,000.00 (€ 18,443.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 225,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip von Schantz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 950,000.00 (€ 106,712.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philip von Schantz konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Red currants" für SEK 210.000,00 (€ 18.443,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 225.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip von Schantz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 950.000,00 (€ 106.712,53).
