Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life by Väddö kanal by Philip von Schantz for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,093.87). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip von Schantz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 950,000.00 (€ 106,712.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life by Väddö kanal von Philip von Schantz für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.093,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip von Schantz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 950.000,00 (€ 106.712,53).
