Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2019 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Birch trees" (Björkar) by Philip von Schantz. The auction ended at the price of SEK 100,000.00 (€ 9,474.54), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip von Schantz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 950,000.00 (€ 106,712.53).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2019 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Birch trees" (Björkar) von Philip von Schantz zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 100.000,00 (€ 9.474,54) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip von Schantz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 950.000,00 (€ 106.712,53).
