Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Katie Nude by Philip Sutton was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in October 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 657.25 (€ 945.96). Admittedly, works by Philip Sutton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers From Crown House in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 8,832.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Katie Nude von Philip Sutton wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 657,25 (€ 945,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Sutton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers From Crown House im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 8.832,40).
