In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Homage To Mozart by Philip Sutton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,336.41), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philip Sutton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers From Crown House, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 6,500.00 (€ 8,832.40).

Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homage To Mozart von Philip Sutton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.336,41) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Philip Sutton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers From Crown House beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 6.500,00 (€ 8.832,40) versteigert wurde.
