Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Great Australian Bight; Samoa, 1966 Image 50 x 50cm (19 3/4 x 19 3/4in.) by Philip Sutton was worth GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,302.96) to a buyer in December last year. This price was achieved in the auction Sir Terence ConranThe Contents of Barton Court at Bonhams and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 500.00 many times over.
