In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Self-Portrait with Oak Branch by Philip Evergood. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,175.66), 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Philip Evergood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dog Bite Clinic in May 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 58,688.71).

Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait with Oak Branch von Philip Evergood zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.175,66) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Evergood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dog Bite Clinic im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 58.688,71).
