Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Philip Evergood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in August last year. In the American Art auction, the work Dominoes sold for USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,546.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Evergood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dog Bite Clinic in May 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 58,688.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philip Evergood erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Dominoes für USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.546,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Evergood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dog Bite Clinic im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 58.688,71).
