Auction result well in line with expectations
In August this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction American Art Online, which included the work The Hidden Apple by Philip Evergood. The price achieved of USD 11,520.00 (€ 10,628.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Evergood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dog Bite Clinic in May 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 58,688.71).
