Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Outside The Tent by Philip Evergood. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,661.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philip Evergood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dog Bite Clinic, which sold at auction in May 2004 for USD 71,700.00 (€ 58,688.71).
