Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Philibert Louis Debucourt could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints auction, the work La Promenade public (Fenaille 33; Inventaire 18e siècle, VI, p. 175, no. 26) changed hands for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,919.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philibert Louis Debucourt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène De Noces Villageoises in March 2015 with an auction result of EUR 22,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philibert Louis Debucourt konnte im Dezember 2001 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints wechselte die Arbeit La Promenade public (Fenaille 33; Inventaire 18e siècle, VI, p. 175, no. 26) für GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.919,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philibert Louis Debucourt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scène De Noces Villageoises im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.100,00.
