Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections, which included the work La Croix d'Honneur; Le Drapeau, early 19th century by Philibert Louis Debucourt. The result of EUR 2,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philibert Louis Debucourt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène De Noces Villageoises in March 2015 with an auction result of EUR 22,100.00.
