It achieved a price of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,039.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philibert Louis Debucourt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scène De Noces Villageoises, which sold at auction in March 2015 for EUR 22,100.00.

Die Arbeit A Village Fair: Le Jongleur von Philibert Louis Debucourt wurde im April 2020 in der Auktion The Rafael Valls Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.039,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Philibert Louis Debucourt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scène De Noces Villageoises beobachtet, die im März 2015 für EUR 22.100,00 versteigert wurde.
