This artwork by Pham Hau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) auction, the work Young Cowherds In Tonkinese Landscape sold for HKD 3,725,000.00 (€ 426,325.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pham Hau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Golden Sunset over Halong Bay, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 9,732,500.00 (€ 1,082,155.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pham Hau erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) wurde die Arbeit Young Cowherds In Tonkinese Landscape für HKD 3.725.000,00 (€ 426.325,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.600.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pham Hau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Golden Sunset over Halong Bay beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 9.732.500,00 (€ 1.082.155,36) versteigert wurde.
