This artwork by Pham Hau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Paysage De La Moyenne Région Au Tonkin (Landscape Of The Tonkin Region) sold for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,780.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pham Hau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Sunset over Halong Bay in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,732,500.00 (€ 1,082,155.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pham Hau erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Paysage De La Moyenne Région Au Tonkin (Landscape Of The Tonkin Region) für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.780,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pham Hau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Sunset over Halong Bay im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.732.500,00 (€ 1.082.155,36).
