This artwork by Pham Hau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale auction, the work Landscape Of The Middle Region In The North Of Vietnam sold for HKD 2,000,000.00 (€ 225,329.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pham Hau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Golden Sunset over Halong Bay in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,732,500.00 (€ 1,082,155.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pham Hau erzielte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Landscape Of The Middle Region In The North Of Vietnam für HKD 2.000.000,00 (€ 225.329,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pham Hau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Golden Sunset over Halong Bay im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.732.500,00 (€ 1.082.155,36).
