Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Birdfingers, 2013 by Petrina Hicks for AUD 738.00 (€ 704.94). This price was achieved in the auction Sherman | Prints & Multiples at Bonhams in Sidney and was even below the estimate range of AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petrina Hicks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shanae and Jade, 2005 (image size) in April this year with an auction result of AUD 39,360.00 (€ 23,591.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Birdfingers, 2013 von Petrina Hicks für AUD 738,00 (€ 704,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sherman | Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Sidney erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petrina Hicks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shanae and Jade, 2005 (image size) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 39.360,00 (€ 23.591,04).
