Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Winter Landscape. Birch Trees by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 73,390.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Landscape. Birch Trees von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 73.390,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
