Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Tree Against The Sky by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky. The price achieved of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 146,780.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tree Against The Sky von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 146.780,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
