Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Skiers by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 140,996.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,326,287.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Skiers von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 140.996,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Todzuro Kavarasaki, a Japanese actor im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.326.287,18).
