Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Don't panic by Peter Tunney was auctioned at Christies in Paris in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,292.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Tunney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work WTF (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot) in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,260.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Don't panic von Peter Tunney kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.292,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Tunney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit WTF (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot) im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 29.260,30).
