Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work But past who can recall or done undo Thank You by Peter Tunney for USD 280.50 (€ 249.84). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Editions Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Tunney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work WTF (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot) in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,260.30).
