Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included this untitled work by Peter Triantos. The price achieved of USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,484.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Triantos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Simply Formal #5 in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 22,812.50 (€ 18,864.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Triantos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.484,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Triantos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Simply Formal #5 im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.812,50 (€ 18.864,22).
