A top price for Peter Triantos
When the work Simply Formal #5 by Peter Triantos was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 7,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at USD 22,812.50 (€ 18,864.22). This high result makes Simply Formal #5 the most expensive artwork by Peter Triantos that we have observed at auctions so far.
