Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Peter Schuyff was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,814.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Schuyff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2017 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Schuyff wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.814,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69).
