Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London, which included the work Miami Globe by Peter Schuyff. The price achieved of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,551.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Schuyff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miami Globe von Peter Schuyff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.551,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69) versteigert wurde.
