Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Oliver - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As Lady Anne Clifford, Later Countess Of Pembroke (1590-1676), Circa 1620, which sold at auction in December 2018 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,067.00).
