The work Figures from the Whalers Washing Shrine by Peter Michael Thomas Atkins was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in August 2005. The price achieved of AUD 10,157.50 (€ 6,190.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Figures from the Whalers Washing Shrine is the most expensive artwork by Peter Michael Thomas Atkins that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Figures from the Whalers Washing Shrine von Peter Michael Thomas Atkins kam im August 2005 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion.
