Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Mathilde on Eiffel Tower", Homage to Blumenfeld + Riboud, Paris, 1989 by Peter Lindbergh was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 21,420.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Lindbergh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 212,479.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Mathilde on Eiffel Tower", Homage to Blumenfeld + Riboud, Paris, 1989 von Peter Lindbergh kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 21.420,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Lindbergh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 212.479,98).
