Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sasha with Bolex, French Vogue, Le Touquet, France by Peter Lindbergh was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 41,910.00 (€ 48,564.58), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Lindbergh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 212,479.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sasha with Bolex, French Vogue, Le Touquet, France von Peter Lindbergh wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 41.910,00 (€ 48.564,58) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Lindbergh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 212.479,98).
