The work Kate Moss, Harper's Bazaar USA, Long Island, New York by Peter Lindbergh was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May this year. It achieved a price of GBP 139,700.00 (€ 162,541.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Lindbergh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 sold at auction in May 2017 with the realized price of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 212,479.98).

Die Arbeit Kate Moss, Harper's Bazaar USA, Long Island, New York von Peter Lindbergh wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 139.700,00 (€ 162.541,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter Lindbergh; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 im Mai 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 212.479,98).
