It achieved a price of GBP 139,700.00 (€ 162,541.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Lindbergh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 sold at auction in May 2017 with the realized price of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 212,479.98).
