Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Green, Grey, Pink, Orange) by Peter Joseph was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,234.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Joseph achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Orange Colour with Brown in December last year with an auction result of EUR 44,475.00.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Green, Grey, Pink, Orange) von Peter Joseph kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.234,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Joseph erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Orange Colour with Brown im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.475,00.
