Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ochre with Dusty Blue by Peter Joseph was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in September 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,586.04), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Joseph achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Orange Colour with Brown in December last year with an auction result of EUR 44,475.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ochre with Dusty Blue von Peter Joseph wurde im September 2013 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.586,04) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Joseph erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Orange Colour with Brown im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.475,00.
