Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Prisons by Peter Halley was auctioned at Christies in July this year. The price achieved of USD 1,008.00 (€ 914.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Halley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Cell With Triple Conduit in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 513,000.00 (€ 584,078.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Prisons von Peter Halley kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 914,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Halley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Cell With Triple Conduit im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 513.000,00 (€ 584.078,81).
