Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Svart Sommar" by Per Olof Ultvedt was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,161.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Per Olof Ultvedt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Upp" (Up) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 29,205.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Svart Sommar" von Per Olof Ultvedt im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.161,62) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Per Olof Ultvedt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Upp" (Up) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 29.205,53).
