Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Tamayana by Pedro Coronel was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 113,440.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pedro Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Año 1 luna in March this year with an auction result of USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Tamayana von Pedro Coronel kam im November 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 113.440,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Año 1 luna im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22).
