Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Dance of Death, which included the work Transparent Head by Pavel Tchelitchew. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,816.00 (€ 2,581.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pavel Tchelitchew achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Concert in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,619,289.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Dance of Death durch, in der auch die Arbeit Transparent Head von Pavel Tchelitchew zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.816,00 (€ 2.581,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pavel Tchelitchew erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Concert im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.385.000,00 (€ 1.619.289,71).
