Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pavel Tchelitchew achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November this year. In the Dance of Death auction, the work Figure from Behind, Bones Exposed sold for USD 53,760.00 (€ 49,284.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pavel Tchelitchew achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Concert in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,619,289.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pavel Tchelitchew erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dance of Death wurde die Arbeit Figure from Behind, Bones Exposed für USD 53.760,00 (€ 49.284,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pavel Tchelitchew erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Concert im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.385.000,00 (€ 1.619.289,71).
