Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carola in a straw hat; and Carola in profile by Paul Wyeth was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2005. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 350.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the fair in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,088.88).
