A top price for Paul Wyeth - as previously expected
The work At the fair by Paul Wyeth was sold in the Sporting Art and Dogs auction at Christies in London in June 2002. The price achieved of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,088.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, At the fair is the most expensive artwork by Paul Wyeth that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit At the fair von Paul Wyeth wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.088,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist At the fair das teuerste Kunstwerk von Paul Wyeth, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
