Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vermont Winter and Evansville Round Barn: Two Works by Paul Sample was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The price achieved of USD 4,480.00 (€ 4,133.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Sample achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Good Farming--Good Living in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 164,079.52).

Die Arbeit Vermont Winter and Evansville Round Barn: Two Works von Paul Sample kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.480,00 (€ 4.133,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Sample erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Good Farming--Good Living im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 241.000,00 (€ 164.079,52).
