Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dell by Paul Morrison was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Morrison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Protoplasm, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).

Die Arbeit Dell von Paul Morrison kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Morrison mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Protoplasm beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36) versteigert wurde.
