Auction result well in line with expectations
The work War (Practice Block II) by Paul Landacre was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of USD 640.00 (€ 604.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Landacre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Press in August this year with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,249.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit War (Practice Block II) von Paul Landacre kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 640,00 (€ 604,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Landacre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Press im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.249,38).
