Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Alcestis by Paul Landacre. The »bidding war« ended at USD 576.00 (€ 544.22), 15% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Landacre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Press in August this year with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,249.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alcestis von Paul Landacre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 576,00 (€ 544,22) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Landacre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Press im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.249,38).
