The work Jeu Princier. Mongol by Paul Jacoulet was sold in the Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,291.36), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Jacoulet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Showa Era (1926-1989), Circa 1934 in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 31,325.00 (€ 27,899.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
