Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Graham could be acquired at Phillips in New York in March 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work End of an Age #18 changed hands for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,306.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Man Exposing Torso, American Night #42 - in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 19,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Graham konnte im März 2020 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit End of an Age #18 für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.306,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Man Exposing Torso, American Night #42 - im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.500,00.
