Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #33. by Paul Graham was sold in the From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection auction at VAN HAM in Cologne in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,354.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Man Exposing Torso, American Night #42 - in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 19,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #33. von Paul Graham wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection bei VAN HAM in Köln versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.354,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Man Exposing Torso, American Night #42 - im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.500,00.
